Police investigate armed robbery at Greensboro Sleep Inn

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Sleep Inn in Greensboro was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night, according to police.

The robbery happened around 8:55 p.m. at the Sleep Inn located at 7 Sharp Airpark Court.

A suspect entered the business, pulled out a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect then drove away in a light-colored SUV with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man was about 6-feet tall with a goatee. He was wearing a black coat with a hooded sweatshirt and appeared to be 30-40 years old.
