LEXINGTON, N.C. — A correction recently published by a local newspaper is catching the internet’s attention.

The Lexington Dispatch published a correction involving the headline to a letter to the editor. The letter was about President Barack Obama and involved the Bible.

The letter “Is Obama the seventh king?” was written by a Davidson County resident and published by the paper earlier this month.

In the correction, the paper clarifies that the writer does not believe the president is the antichrist, but does believe he could be the seventh king.

The newspaper’s correction has been featured online by the Houston Chronicle, Newser and the popular news/gossip blog Gawker.
