NEW YORK — Cops went to investigate a vacant building for a reported burglary in progress, but found eight fluffy puppies instead.

NYPD reports the owner of the building at 1818 Ocean Parkway called police Monday morning after seeing and hearing signs of a burglary on the third floor.
