HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Someone from North Carolina will wake up a little richer this morning.
One of the jackpot winning Powerball tickets was sold somewhere in North Carolina.
There's no word on where the winning ticket was sold or who purchased it, but that person will take home a piece of the $546 million jackpot.
The North Carolina Education Lottery is expected to announce where the $188 million winning ticket was sold around noon today.
The other two winners bought tickets in Texas and Puerto Rico.
This jackpot is the fifth largest prize in U.S. history, with a cash value of $381 million.
A lot of other people won smaller prizes too.
A total of 279 people in North Carolina won at least $100 according to the state's lottery website.
The numbers are: 11, 13, 25, 39 and 54, with a Powerball number of 19.
