Silver Alert issued for missing man in Greensboro canceled

Update 10:59 p.m. — At the request of the Greensboro Police Department, the N.C. Center for Missing Persons has canceled the Silver Alert for Stephen Bobbi Hayes.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Stephen Bobbi Hayes, 28, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Hayes is a white male who is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes.

Hayes was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, white socks, black shoes and black zippered leather coat. He also walks with a pronounced limp.

Hayes is from Winston-Salem and may attempt to return to that area.
