UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police arrested a doctor Friday after they said he used sex toys on an unconscious woman and then took photographs without her consent, WPMT reported.

Dr. Peter A. Cardinal, 52, was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse on an unconscious person,  indecent assault on an unconscious person and 12 counts of invasion of privacy.

The investigation began on Jan. 29 after a woman  learned that Cardinal had taken inappropriate pictures while she was passed out after taking Ambien to help her sleep. She claimed that Cardinal had also used sex toys on her while she was unconscious.

During an interview with police on Friday, Cardinal admitted to using sex toys on the woman while she was unconscious and taking photos of it on his phone. He told police he knew she was completely unconscious.
