These movies were filmed in NC and should hit theaters sometime soon

There are at least six movies filmed in North Carolina that should be hitting theaters soon, some this year, according to the Charlotte Observer.

There are currently no movies being shot in the area, according to the paper.

The Longest Ride

A romantic drama based on a Nicholas Sparks novel that was filmed at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem and Wilmington. Comes out in April.

Careful What You Wish For

An upcoming thriller directed by Elizabeth Allen and starring Isabel Lucas, Dermot Mulroney, Nick Jonas, and Graham Rogers. It is set to release on March 5. Filmed in the Charlotte area.

Paper Towns

This one is about a high school student who sets out to find the neighbor he’s in love with after she mysteriously disappeared. It stars Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff and should be released in June. Filmed in the Charlotte area.
