Motion filed to delay sentencing of adoptive mother of missing NC teen Erica Parsons

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A motion was filed to delay the sentencing date for the adoptive mother of a missing Rowan County teenager.

Casey Parsons is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 10.

Now the U.S. Attorney is asking for her sentencing date to be moved to Feb. 18 which is the same date as that of her husband, Sandy Parsons.

Casey Parsons pleaded guilty to 15 charges of fraud and identity theft in October.
