Man arrested after crashing stolen vehicle into two NC police cars

RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities have arrested a man accused of crashing a stolen vehicle into two North Carolina police cars on Saturday morning, according to WTVD-TV.

Raleigh police have charged 26-year-old Laryan Alan Wilson with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Officers said they were called about a suspicious person just before 2:30 a.m. in the 4100 block of Wake Forest Road.

When officers arrived, the suspect took off, hitting the police car and tearing off the bumper, according to authorities.

Then just before 9 a.m., another cop car was hit in the area of Millbrook Road and Cedarwood Drive. No injuries were reported.
