Man returning home robbed at gunpoint in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man approaching his home was robbed by two armed men, the News & Record reported.

At 12:03 a.m. today, officers responded to the 1000 block of Sykes Avenue in reference to a robbery, according to the release.

The victim told officers that he was entering his residence when he was approached by two men with handguns.

The gunmen entered the home and took property before fleeing in a gray pickup with a crew cab, heading north on Sykes Avenue, the release states.

As they were leaving in the truck, the suspects discharged a firearm into the air, according to the release.

The first suspect is described as 6 feet tall with a heavy build and wearing a gray hooded shirt and black toboggan.

The second suspect is described as having dread locks, standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and wearing a hooded shirt and blue jeans.
