Two NC men identified in connection with several robberies, sexual assaults

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Authorities in Fayetteville have identified two suspects in connection with several reported armed robberies and sexual assaults over the weekend, according to WTVD.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s detectives have obtained warrants for the arrests of 27-year-old Cedric Maurice King and 22-year-old Clifton Lamar Hayes, both of Fayetteville.

Officials say King is wanted on two charges of first-degree forcible sexual offense, common law robbery, conspiracy, and communicating threats. Hayes is facing two counts of first-degree forcible sexual offense, common law robbery and conspiracy for his role in the crime.

Detectives are now searching for the two men. They are considered armed and dangerous.
