Yadkin County man arrested over financial irregularities with business

YADKIN COUNTY, N.C. — A man is in custody in connection with multiple incidents of obtaining property by false pretense through a business.

On Dec. 1, the Yadkinville Police Department received a call from Fackrell Trivette Wealth Management LLC located at 604 Tennessee Street regarding financial irregularities that had occurred at the business. Investigators determined there had been multiple incidents of obtaining property by false pretenses.

On Dec. 5, a warrant for obtaining property by false pretenses was issued on Charles Caleb Fackrell, 34, of Boonville. The amounts for this warrant was in excess of $100,000.

On Dec. 10, two warrants were issued for obtaining property by false pretenses on Fackrell. The amount for these warrants were in excess of $100,000.

Fackrell is being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $750,000 bond.

The investigation has been a joint effort between the Yadkinville Police Department, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Office.

The charges stem from irregular business practices facilitated in the name of Fackrell and Fackrell Trivette Wealth Management, LLC.
