Assault charges dropped against Charlotte Hornets player P.J. Hairston
DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham district attorney has dropped assault charges against Charlotte Hornets player P.J. Hairston, according to WTVD-TV.
Officials said the charges are from a fight during a pick-up basketball game at the YMCA in Durham.
The district attorney said charges were dropped at the request of the alleged victim, Northern High senior Kentrell Barkley.
Both men claimed the other one threw the first punch. But now that the charges were dropped, the case is closed.
