19-year-old Greensboro woman accused of stabbing man during dispute

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman was arrested after police say she stabbed a man in his arm during a dispute Wednesday night in Greensboro.

Police were approached by the victim around 11:55 p.m. in the area of Martin Luther King Jr Drive and South Benbow Road.

The victim was bleeding from an apparent stab wound to the arm and told police he was involved in a domestic dispute at 2106 Belcrest St.

The victim was transported via EMS to a local hospital for treatment of his wound.

Officers responded to the house and took 19-year-old Makayla Jones into custody.

Jones was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

The investigation is ongoing.
