15 NC postal workers hospitalized after company Veterans Day potluck
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — More than a dozen people were taken to hospital early Thursday morning after becoming sick at a U.S. Postal facility in West Mecklenburg County, according to WSOC.
It was reported that at least nine people were transported from the facility on West Pointe Drive around 5:45 a.m.
Paramedics were called back out to the facility around 8 a.m. after another person became sick. Those patients were suffering from symptoms common with food poisoning.
Two more people went home after feeling ill before paramedics arrived.
It was reported that the workers became ill following a dinner party that the company provided.
All patients reportedly have non-life threatening conditions and are expected to be OK.
