‘Serial bank robber’ wanted in connection to crimes in High Point, Asheboro and Lexington

Police are looking for a “serial bank robber” wanted in connection to crimes in High Point, Asheboro and Lexington.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police are looking for a “serial bank robber” wanted in connection to crimes in High Point, Asheboro and Lexington.

The suspect is accused of robbing three banks at gunpoint starting late last month.

On Oct. 27, he allegedly robbed the Bank of America at 115 West Fairfield Road in High Point.

He also allegedly robbed the First Bank at North Fayetteville Street in Asheboro on Nov. 5 and the Rushco convenience store at 1701 Cotton Grove Road in Lexington.

The suspect has been reported to be armed with a handgun and is described as a white male with a slender build and light beard.

He is said to be taller than 6’1” and has some kind of bandage on the left side of his neck. It remains uncertain if the bandage is there to cover up a mark or tattoo.
