Authorities looking for missing NC man; Silver Alert issued

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a 60-year-old Fayetteville man, according to WTVD-TV.

Investigators say Darnell Tyrone Powell has been diagnosed with dementia, high blood pressure, heart issues and PTSD.

Powell has brown eyes and short black hair. He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds.

Authorities say he was last seen Saturday at 4205 Dwight Circle in Fayetteville.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a burgundy shirt and brown cowboy boots. He also walks with a limp.

Powell is possibly driving a silver 2005 Dodge Caravan with North Carolina registration BDH4487.
