Ralph Lauren to hold job fair in High Point Monday

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Ralph Lauren Corp. will hold two job fairs in High Point on Monday, Oct. 6.

The event is open to all job-seekers and will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Morehead Recreation Center at 101 Price Street.

Job-seekers should bring their resumes.

An invitation-only morning session will run from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Morehead Recreation Center for clients of N.C. Works.

The afternoon event is the third of three job fairs Ralph Lauren has scheduled as part of its incentives deal with the city of High Point.

The company is in the midst of adding 900 jobs as part of expansion projects announced in 2010 and 2012.

Ralph Lauren has three major apparel and home goods distribution facilities in High Point and is building a fourth. The company also has a technical facility, a customer contact operation and a research and development facility in the city.

With nearly 2,400 full-time equivalent employees in High Point, Ralph Lauren is the city’s largest employer.
