Vehicle wreck on U.S. 29 South in Greensboro causes traffic delays

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Traffic is starting to slow on U.S. 29 South in Greensboro Wednesday morning after a wreck involving possibly as many as five vehicles.

The wreck happened near East Florida Street.

The left lane of southbound U.S. 29 is closed and it’s being reported that traffic is backed up to the Market Street Bridge.

Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
