Tenn. man charged after shocking discovery made at his home

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man has been charged after a human head and human hands were found in trash bags at his Tennessee home.

According to WMC, a man arrived at 36-year-old Michael Wilson Jr.’s home on Dunn Street to pick up scrap metal. There, he found the head inside a trash bag.

After realizing the man saw the remains, Wilson allegedly said, “Please don’t tell on me, I didn’t mean to kill him,” and revealed that the bag contained “a head and two hands.”

Investigators arrived at the home to find a decaying body, and several instruments that appeared to be used to dismember the body.

Wilson was arrested and charged with second degree murder and abuse of a corpse. He is in jail under a $2 million bond.

Neighbors say Wilson may suffer from schizophrenia.

The investigation is ongoing.
