Man injured in Greensboro drive-by shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man was injured when he was shot in the buttocks in a drive-by shooting as he was walking in Greensboro overnight.

Police responded to find the victim who said he was walking on Peachtree Street when he saw a small black vehicle, occupied by four men traveling south on Gillespie Street.

The victim said four rounds of gunfire were discharged from vehicle and one of the rounds struck the victim in his buttocks.

The victim was transported to a local hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
