GREENSBORO, N.C. — Authorities said a dump truck in Greensboro overturned after the driver lost control on Thursday afternoon.

The truck was headed east on Bishop Road, hit a culvert and the load of asphalt shifted which caused the flip, according to State Trooper BM Walker.

No injuries were reported and the trooper said the scene should be cleared later in the day. Some asphalt spilled into the grass, but none on the road, Walker said.

The westbound lane of Bishop Road is still open.

The truck is from Tom Cat Trucking out of Guilford County.
