CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Police have arrested a man accused of breaking into dorm rooms at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and stealing money.
WTVD-TV reported that 18-year-old Thomas Dusek is facing several charges including first-degree burglary and larceny.
Police said the victims were on two different floors and reported someone entering their rooms while they were sleeping, and taking cash from their wallets.
Campus police said he is not connected to the university. Authorities said no one was hurt.
Dusek is charged with stealing from students in the Ehringhaus Residence Hall.
