Suspect sought after woman robbed at gunpoint in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are looking for a suspect after a woman says she was robbed at gunpoint in Greensboro late Wednesday evening.

Officers responded to East Market Street around 11:51 p.m. where a woman said someone had just robbed her at gunpoint in the parking lot of John’s Curb Market, 2000 E. Market St.

The victim told police a unknown man armed with a gun walked up to her and demanded her money and property.

After taking unknown items from the woman, he then fled the scene on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as wearing red hat, a white shirt and blue jeans.

The investigation is ongoing.
