Don Pardo, the voice of Saturday Night Live! for decades, died on Monday evening. He was 96.
NBC Nightly News confirmed Pardo’s death early Tuesday morning.
Pardo, a member of the Television Hall of Fame, worked with NBC for dozens of years and worked on The Price Is Right, Jeopardy! and NBC Nightly News.
Pardo retired in 2004 but continued to provide introductions for Saturday Night Live. Pardo missed two shows during the 2013 season after he suffered a broken hip.
