Motorcyclist injured in Rural Hall wreck, charges pending
RURAL HALL, N.C. — A motorcyclist is in the hospital after a crash involving three SUVs and two motorcycles in Forsyth County.
The crash was reported around 3:30 p.m. Thursday at 6651 University Parkway in Rural Hall, according to Captain Johnson with the Rural Hall Fire Department.
Troopers say Bobbie Furches, of Pfafftown, was driving a Jeep Cherokee southbound on University Parkway and failed to stop and rear-ended two vehicles. One vehicle went left of center and hit a motorcycle.
Furches was charged with failure to reduce speed and reading an electronic mobile device while driving.
The second motorcyclist laid down his bike to avoid the accident.
