All four were being held at the Halifax County jail without bond. They are scheduled to make their first court appearances on Oct. 1.

Authorities are continuing to investigate a related case involving 15-year-old Keyeon Garner, who was shot Aug. 4 less than a mile from Cedar Street.

Semaj Tojuan Clanton, 19, of Garysburg, was arrested Aug. 7 and charged with murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder for the shootings of two people who were with Garner. Those victims were treated at a local hospital and later released.
