Motorcyclist seriously injured in collision with vehicle in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The driver of a motorcycle has sustained serious injuries as a result of a traffic accident in the 800 block of South Stratford Road.

The crash involved a passenger vehicle and motorcycle. It occurred around 7:15 p.m. and the 800 block of South Stratford Road was closed until around 10:30 p.m.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Baptist Hospital for treatment. The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured.

The motorcyclist was later identified as 28-year-old Barry Hoke, of Winston-Salem. The driver of the passenger vehicle was identified as 26-year-old Molly Angle, of Winston-Salem.

Police are investigating the accident.
