HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. — A Maryland State Trooper is being hailed as a hero for saving the life of a man who seemed to be about to jump off a 90-foot-high bridge, according to the Washington Post.
A dash cam video posted to YouTube shows Trooper Joshua Kim drive up to a man standing on the shoulder of I-95 on the Millard E. Tydings Memorial Bridge.
The man waves, then puts one leg over the low wall of the bridge. With only seconds to react, Kim rushes toward him, pulls him to the ground and handcuffs him.
The man was hospitalized afterward.
