Greensboro Dollar General robbed for third time in less than 6 weeks

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are searching for a man in connection with the robbery of a Greensboro business.

Officers responded to Dollar General, located at 2909 Pleasant Garden Road, shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a robbery.

The suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and asked for money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in a gray Chevrolet Malibu with a 30-day tag.

This is the third time this Dollar General has been robbed in less than six weeks. It was also robbed on Friday, June 27 and Tuesday, July 22.

In this incident, the suspect was described as a black male with dreadlocks who appeared to be approximately 24 years old. He was wearing a red bandana, sunglasses, a red zip up hooded jacket, red workout pants and gloves.
