HIGH POINT, N.C. — The summer break is pretty much over for some students in our area. Classes will start at the brand new Allen Jay preparatory academy in High Point on Thursday.
What was once the old Allen Jay high school and middle schools was transformed using $13.1 million in bond money.
Students and parents will get their first look at the new facility during open house Monday night.
FOX8’s Carter Coyle takes us on a tour of the new school.
