RALEIGH, N.C. — A vigil will be held Sunday for a man who died after he was run over by a car on Pettigrew Street in Raleigh.
WTVD-TV reported that a year after Dwight Emory Smith Jr.’s death, there is still no answer surrounding his death.
Smith had gotten into an argument at a party and went to sit on the side of the street when he was hit by a car.
His mother will hold a vigil where he was killed at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Raleigh police say they will also hold an information checking station at the location from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Authorities are hoping someone will come forward with new details.
