REIDSVILLE, N.C. – Lines are forming at the newly-opened Donut House in Reidsville, the city’s first doughnut shop in at least 20 years.

The Greensboro News & Record reported that the recent opening of the Donut House had people talking.

“If I remember right, there was one 40 years ago on Gilmer Street called Donna Lee (Bake Shop),” former Mayor James Festerman said. “There might have been another one on Scales Street, too.”

The Donut House is owned by 28-year-old Yin Chang, whose extended family runs many restaurants around the country.

The business on Freeway Drive has been open for nearly a month and sells a variety of doughnuts.
