FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — Three men are behind bars in the deaths of two Fuquay-Varina men found dead in a home about two weeks ago, according to WTVD-TV.

On Saturday, detectives arrested 21-year-old Gregory Crawford, of Fuquay-Varina, and 20-year-old Kevin Britt, of Holly Springs.

Wake County Sheriff Donnie Harrison said Crawford and Britt face two counts of first-degree murder and several other charges, including burglary and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Investigators were also searching for a third man, 21-year-old Donovan Jevonte Richardson of Holly Springs.

On Sunday, Richardson turned himself in.

Authorities believe robbery was the motive for the slayings of David McKoy, 66, and Arthur Brown, 78, who were found dead on Saturday, July 19 at a home in the 200 block of Howard Road. Investigators believe the two men were killed earlier, either late Thursday or early Friday morning.

Investigators say the crime was not random. Harrison said additional arrests are expected.
