Man on Rowan Co. Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List arrested
ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A man who has been on the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List since April was arrested Thursday in Thomasville.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office received information that Aziz Alim Rahim Al-Amin, also known by the alias “Ronald Rankin,” was located at a house in Thomasville by Bradshaw Bonding.
Al-Amin was wanted for eight residential and business break-ins in March 2014 and a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.
Rowan County detectives relayed the information to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. Al-Amin was arrested at the Thomasville residence within minutes and returned to Rowan County.
Al-Amin is currently in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond.
