8-year-old child struck by car in Raleigh
RALEIGH — Police are investigating after a 8-year-old child was hit by a car in Raleigh.
The accident happened in the area of Cross Link Road and Rock Quarry Road.
Police said 8-year-old Jahlen Williams was crossing the street with an adult, and was not in a crosswalk, when he was hit by a car driven by 29-year-old Dantrail McAllister.
Police said Jahlen was rushed to WakeMed with what were described as life threatening injuries.
No charges have been filed.
