RALEIGH, N.C. — The House and Senate have finally come to terms on a budget deal after negotiations have dragged on for weeks, according to WTVD-TV.

But Saturday evening, House Speaker Thom Tillis and Senate leader Phil Berger both took to Twitter to announce that negotiators had agreed upon a budget framework for the $21 billion spending plan.

No details were released but the big sticking points are Medicaid reform and pay raises for teachers.

There is no word yet from the Executive Mansion on whether Governor Pat McCrory is on board.
