3 teens arrested, 2 sought for 32 auto break-ins in Winston-Salem
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police have arrested three teens in connection with numerous automobile break-ins and are searching for two other suspects.
Officers responded to numerous locations off Robinhood Road and North Peach Haven Road on reported auto break-ins in the late hours of July 14 and early hours of July 15.
In the early morning hours of July 15, officers were conducting an investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the 5400 block of North Ridge Drive. The investigation resulted in the arrests of 19-year-old Christopher Austin Reid, and 18-year-old Tristan James Hill. During the search of the vehicle, various items linked the two to items stolen from vehicles.
Further investigation led to the arrest of 17-year-old Travis Scott Mays.
All three individuals were charged with 32 counts of auto breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny and 11 counts of misdemeanor larceny.
Two other suspects, Gevontae Daeron Morrison, 17, and Ariel Aswan Williams, 16, are being sought for the same offenses.
