Deputies search for missing Rockingham Co. family

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. — Deputies are searching for a missing Rockingham County woman, her 6-month-old child and the child’s father.

Kaitlyn Nicole Williams, 19, of 161 Brightwood Road, was last seen by her mother on Friday, July 18 around 8:30 p.m.

Williams is traveling with her 6-month-old daughter and deputies believe they are with the child’s father, 22-year-old Wesley Blake Dillon.

Deputies say Williams left in her 2001 Honda Civic, which was later found in a Walmart parking lot in Mayodan.  Her mother received a text saying it was there.

The vehicle reportedly had been there since Sunday evening. A vehicle matching a description of the child’s father’s vehicle, a silver 1999 Honda Civic, was spotted along with a man unloading items from Williams’ car into his.

All attempts to contact either adult have been unsuccessful.

Deputies believe they may be headed to Myrtle Beach, but family members are concerned about Williams’ well-being.

Williams is described as a white female, 5’7″, 160 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on her lower left abdomen “Let It Be.”
