Surveillance photo released in Greensboro Dollar General robbery

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A surveillance photo has been released of the suspect in the robbery of a Greensboro Dollar General last night.

Police are searching for a man in connection with the robbery of the Dollar General, located at 2909 Pleasant Garden Road, shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and asked for money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and property and fled the scene on foot.

This was the second time this Dollar General has been robbed in less than four weeks. It was also robbed on Friday, June 27.

The suspect was described as a black male with dreadlocks. He was wearing a beanie type hat with red, green and yellow stripes, a bandana over his face, a black jacket and blue jeans.

    Well this is also because of the crappy set up of this store and they also almost always leave an employee alone, was always terrified of this happening when I worked there, even went to the corporate office about it and was told that is was “standard procedure”
