How to find a restaurant’s grade in your county

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

When you go out to eat, you’ve probably noticed that the restaurant has a grade posted on the wall. It’s their sanitation score.

So what is this grade based on? The grade is given by a local health department inspector on how clean the place is, how the food is being cooked/stored properly.

If you want to know a restaurant’s score before you go, you can check by searching your county.
