Greensboro Dollar General robbed for second time in less than 4 weeks

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are searching for a man in connection with the robbery of a Greensboro business.

Officers responded to Dollar General, located at 2909 Pleasant Garden Road, shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a robbery.

The suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun and asked for money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and property and fled the scene on foot.

This is the second time this Dollar General has been robbed in less than four weeks. It was also robbed on Friday, June 27.

In this incident, the suspect was described as a black male with dreadlocks. He was wearing a beanie type hat with red, green and yellow stripes, a bandana over his face, a black jacket and blue jeans.

    Sounds like that fellas been busy! It is dollar General. To get 100 dollars you have to rob it as many times.

    Why is GPD even handling this? Pleasant Garden is in outside the city limits but is in Guilford County. Is the Sheriff’s office not capable? Makes me wonder… being that I’m a resident of PG.
