Wendy’s in Winston-Salem robbed at gunpoint


WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police are looking for a suspect after a Wendy’s restaurant in Winston-Salem was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening.

Police say the suspect entered the Wendy’s at 3197 Peters Creek Parkway just before midnight with a gun and demanded money. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the area on foot.

No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, six feet tall, wearing a blue hat, long sleeve sweater, dark pants and a mask over his face.
