Gang member in Charlotte gets a $2 million bond for drug charges

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A gang member in Charlotte is being held on a $2 million bond for drug charges, according to WSOC-TV.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers responded to Country Walk Drive in reference to a disturbance early Sunday morning.
Police said when they arrived, they saw about 40 people about to get in a fight.
An officer said while police were clearing the area, an unknown suspect shot off a round at the back of the house.
Officers searched the inside and outside of the house, finding a revolver and 9mm pistol, according to authorities. Police said both firearms were loaded and will be analyzed further to see if they are stolen.
Inside of the house, officers said they found another 9mm pistol, which they said was stolen.
Police arrested Cesar Jonathan Nande, who they said rents a house at 6135 Country Walk Drive.
Nande, 22, was arrested for trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling and possession of a stolen firearm. Officers seized $3,346 and said Nande is a known gang member.
