One person injured in Greensboro shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are investigating a shooting that resulted in one victim being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.

Police said they responded to the shooting at around 5 a.m. Saturday at the Venus Fly Lounge at 2206 Stamey St.

Police have not released details on the circumstances leading up to the shooting. The suspect was said to have been leaving the scene in a black Chevrolet Impala.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information can call police at 373-1000.

    The also didn’t say that the victim was a white male. And NO, I’m not bringing race into and it has nothing to do the case. He was just a bystander.
