GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are looking for two men who reportedly assaulted and robbed a man at the Heritage House in Greensboro Wednesday night.

Officers responded to the Heritage House apartment complex on Meadowview Road around 10:50 p.m. The victim said two men approached him in the hallway and begin assaulting him. During the assault, one of the suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim.

Both suspects then fled the area.

The first suspect was described as a tall man with dreadlocks. The second suspect was described as a 5’9” tall man wearing blue basketball shorts.

Police believe the robbery may have been drug-related.

The investigation is ongoing.

Investigators recently found over 800 violations at the complex and city leaders are hoping to shut the place down. Last year, more than 2,800 calls to Greensboro police and other emergency services were called from the Heritage House.
