An abandoned dog waiting more than a year for his deceased owner to return has been rescued.
According to the Huffington Post, when Woody’s owner died, the family sold the house and left him outside. For more than a year, the poodle waited underneath a nearby shed.
Eldad Hagar, founder of animal rescue organization Hope for Paws, found Woody and nursed him back to health.
Woody got a makeover, started eating and learned to love again.
Woody is in a foster home, but no one has adopted him yet. For more information, visit www.hopeforpaws.org.
