Man arrested on drug charges after found hiding under sink in NC motel room

GREENSBORO, N.C. — U.S. Marshals arrested a Connecticut man Tuesday after finding him hiding under a sink in a Greensboro motel.

Ronnie Ellis, 32, who was wanted by the Drug Enforcement Administration in New Haven, Connecticut, is charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with the intent to sell and for the criminal possession of a firearm.

Ellis was discovered hiding underneath the bathroom sink in the motel room at the Sun Suites Motel on Lanada Road.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Guilford County Jail where he was placed under a $1 million bond.
