NC man saves child from drowning Sunday

COOLEEMEE, N.C. — A 21-year-old man saved a boy from drowning Sunday.

Jacob Nastally saw the 4-year-old floating on the water Sunday in the Bullhole at the Riverpark in Cooleemee.

Nastally told WSOC that he gave the boy CPR for more than 20 minutes. Nastally said he got trained in the fifth grade, but he never used it.

It was reported that the boy was hospitalized, but would be released.
