Man accused of robbing elderly woman in Thomasville

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Thomasville police are looking for a man accused of breaking into an 89-year-old woman’s home and attacking and robbing her.

Police said it happened around 7 p.m. in the 400 block of Unity Street.

The victim told officers she was working on her yard outside and was attacked by a man in her home when she returned.

Police said the victim was conscious but bleeding when they arrived. She was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and was last known to be in stable condition, authorities said.

    I can’t wait to see the picture of the coward/human piece of garbage that would attack an eighty some year old woman. Couldn’t rob a twenty something, physically fit man? Yeah, he’d get his head knocked off!
